It is a stone with a deep charm of “Shingu” one of the three Main Kano Shrines which was registered as a Unesco World Heritage Site on 2004 as a “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Route in the Kii Mountaing range”

 When visiting Ise Jingu, you go through the Kumano Kodo, and the three major shrine (Kumano Hayata Taisha, Kumano Hongu Shrine and Kumano nachi Taisha) situated in the three mountain of Kumano that have been worshiped since ancient time.
It is a very interesting fact that this stone has the same name as the big shrine Shingu where there still is a living belief about Yakushi Nyorai is enshrined
