Meanings: Goddess of beauty, beauty, health


This stone is known as the “goddess of beauty.” Bizen is famous for the legend of Momotaro. Its Japanese name is sericite, and it is a clay mineral. Of these, Mitsuishi is a production area for rosestone, which has long been used to make white pottery and chalk. In addition to rosestone, sericite and silica are also mined, making the area extremely rich geologically.
Bizen ware is famous for the high-quality clay produced nearby.
The silica, sericite, and rosestone in this region are stones that are good for health as they contain negative ions and radiation.
Feldspar is altered and iron, magnesium, calcium, etc. are leached out to become sericite.
